Solution: An incrementally developed, but integrated performance support solution. This is a multi-phase project with the first three phases delivered in technology-assisted learning modules (CBT).
  • The first phase (A New Day is Dawning on ERC) is a "gain statement", or "what's in it for me" presentation. This high-level 3-D animation using Studio Pro and Quest Net+ covers the history of ERC, the current system and process problems and what the company decided to do about these problems. Special characters created by Human Dynamics narrate and illustrate throughout the presentation. Every employee of ERC has a CD-ROM containing the presentation. • The second phase is the "Getting Started" module. This interactive CD, created using Quest Net+, allows employees to practice basic system functions in a simulated environment.

  • The third phase includes a series of "process movies" which illustrate and explain the best practices for integrating the new software and global process reengineering efforts. These screen-cam type movies capture the actions and narration of the subject-matter expert using the software and the just-in-time electronic performance support system. • The fourth phase is the just-in-time electronic performance support system (EPSS).
